BATOR HORIZONTAL SECTIONAL DOOR

The BATOR horizontal sectional door – also known as the side sectional door, circular track sliding door or sectional sliding door – distinguishes itself with its clever space-saving stowage in the runback. Instead of folding, the door moves along the wall like a sliding door. Before reaching the side wall, the guide angles up to 90° and leads the door further into the hall along the wall. No hinges are visible from the outside, and the industrial door stands in an open, space-saving position along the brickwork inside the building.

The horizontal sectional door is suitable for large openings or for garage entrance doors with slim lintels and limited space for the runback. A double horizontal sectional door can be used for openings beyond 30 metres wide.

The height and width of the horizontal sectional door is practically unlimited. With heights over 7 metres, the doors are floor-supported and guided by load rollers on a recessed track in the floor.

In terms of design, horizontal sectional doors can take up the pattern of the facade with a whole range of different materials: with applied sheet, expanded metal, panels, wood inlays or glazing or with fibre-reinforced concrete elements – the sky is the limit. The solid construction and silent roller glides with integrated bearings meet the highest demands in terms of durability and smooth, noiseless operation, making BATOR steel sliding doors a popular choice also for public authorities at home and abroad.

BATOR horizontal sectional doors open either to the left or to the right on one side or, with two leaf sections, open synchronously or asynchronously to both sides. Contact wire cut-outs for trams and trains in the centre of the door are among the many options offered by BATOR.

All elements such as trolleys, shafts, guide rails, rolling elements and drive units are designed to operate with minimal material wear and maintenance across many decades. An investment that pays off.

The BATOR circular sliding door offers the following advantages:

  • low air permeability
  • driving rain proof
  • suitable for high wind loads
  • robust, well-engineered construction
  • for manual operation and as high-speed doors
  • smooth running and minimal rolling noise

In addition to the CLASSIC version, the door is also available in a certified RC3 / WK3 version or bullet-resistant up to certified class BR4 / FB4. The THERM line guarantees a U-value of 1.2 W/m2K. Good acoustic values are achieved with the PHON line.
